Greetings from the Riser Barn

Greetings from the Riser Barn

Our team decided to brave the winter weather of Wisconsin. Instead we were greeted with 60 degrees and sunshine and some unforgettable moments. Wisconsin is the home to our visionary leader, Michael Snyder. Michael's family has been in the clothing business since 1884 and was in the family for four generations. the Snyder’s retail apparel store is now a charming restaurant.

While we ate lunch there, Michael shared fond memories of sanding the floors in his youth and hanging the awnings outside of the front doors.

We were able to drive around and walk the streets of this quaint little town before we headed over to Michael's barn. It didn't take long for us to take ownership of the barn and we re-named it "The Riser Barn". It's not a barn like you might imagine. There are no animals not the stench of manure, but rather walls covered in old newspapers, photographs, and American memorabilia—is like a mini museum.

RiserUnited’s owner, Steve the Roofer arrived shortly after in awe of what the Riser Barn had to offer. Steve, Michael, Corey and Alina were able to sit down and have discussions about the Riser's beginnings, the why behind the brand, the challenges and wins and some of our aspirations for what's to come. We had a very special crew member with us behind the camera, Charlie, Steve's son who helped us with videography and gave some incredible feedback from his perspective as well. All of the conversations will be published soon. We can't wait to share them with you!
